The terminology Elastic means that you are able to increase and decrease your resources for your service and the changes will be instantly applied to your service without the assistance from our team.

Elastic Cloud

With our Elastic Cloud service, you will have a bulk amount of resources available to you to use so that you can simply provision 1 or many Cloud Servers through our Cloud Portal.

Case Studies :-
  1. You provision an Elastic Cloud with 5GB of Memory, 250GB of Storage Space, 250GB Bandwidth and 5 IP addresses.

    1. You can simply provision a new Cloud Server with all of these resources

    2. You can provision 5 virtual servers, each 1GB of Memory, 50GB of Storage Space, 50GB of Bandwidth and 1 IP address.

  2. You can provision an Elastic Cloud with 5GB of Memory, 250GB of Storage Space, 250GB Bandwidth and 5 IP addresse

    1. You can complete steps A and B

    2. You may need to provision a 6th Cloud Server later on.  Here you can upgrade your Elastic Cloud resources and then provision a 6th Cloud Server with those new resources.

Elastic Servers

With any of our Elastic Servers, this allows you to manage the resources for that particular server through our Cloud Portal.  You will be able to increase or decrease your servers resources as you need them.

Case Study :-

  1. You can provision a new Elastic Cloud Server with 2GB of Memory, 50GB of Storage Space, 100GB Bandwidth and 1 IP address.

    1. You can later on increase all of the server resources or individual resources (e.g. Upgrading the bandwidth from 100GB to 200GB).

    2. You can later on decrease all of the server resources or individual resources (e.g. Downgrading the bandwidth from 200GB to 100GB).

The resource changes are applied automatically and instantly to your Cloud Server when upgrading or downgrading the servers resources.
